Task 1- Let the blogging begin

The National Association of Screen Make-up Artists and Hairdressers (also known as NASMAH) is an organisation that was set up in 1966 that seeks to maintain a high level of make-up artistry and hairdressing by promoting different companies and organisations from around the world.

One of these companies is the British Association of Skin Camouflage, this company sells specially created cream make-up that helps to cover anything from acne spots and scars to xanthelasma (fat deposits around the eyes and on the eyelids). The make-up itself can be used anywhere on the body by men, women and occasionally children, it is water-proof and smudge proof which means it suits any lifestyle and won't need to be "touched up" for 8-16 hours.
The makeup here has been applied on the man's left hand to cover his vitiligo.

This make-up is available in a variety of skin tones, with translucent and textured powders that make the make-up look almost invisible and completely natural on the skin.

The make-up also comes by prescription from the NHS and there are specialist on hand who show you how to apply the make-up as seen here:

Another good thing about this make-up is that you can apply it, and then wear your everyday make-up over the top of it. It can also be used to cover up large or small tattoos anywhere on the body no matter how dark they may be.

If I had had the choice when I was younger, and if I had known about this make-up I would definitely of used it on my acne scars that I used to have a few years ago. I think it's a life-changing, confidence boosting way of temporarily hiding scars, tattoos, birth marks and acne spots that is easy to apply and wear.
